Favorite quote: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Favorite memory: One of my favorite memories in my life is when I went to California Adventure in my sophomore year of high school. We went there because we had a leadership class that we were able to go to where we learned how to have influence on a group of people and how to be an effective leader. The mentor was a Christian and so we prayed for him after he concluded his class. After the class we were free to go around the park where I created some of the best memories I've had with my closest friends.

Advice to future generations: Cherish the time that you have. Live in the moment with the people you love the most, whether it's friends or family. A Bible verse that helps me with this is Matthew 6:34 which says "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble on its own."

Parents' names: Patsy and Pino Tenerelli
