Bubbles, is a two-year-old neutered gray tabby domestic cat that came at the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray on June 19. He was wearing a pheromone cat collar and a blue harness. Bubbles was scared at first but showed no aggression and was able to be handled. Bubbles’ paws were ulcerated and needed medical attention. He is healing very well. He will need a home that will help him continue his healing process and will care for him. Animal name: Zelda

Zelda, an owner surrender, is a 10-month-old black spayed pit bull that came to the Palmdale Animal Care Center on July 5. She is a people-friendly dog that loves attention. While at the yard, Zelda displayed a push and pull play style. She gets along with other dogs, tolerated being sniffed and loves to engage in play. Zelda is an active dog and surely will fit in an active family. Since she is still young, she could benefit with behavior training and more socialization with other dogs. Animal name: Renee

Renee is a four-year-old pit bull that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray in June. She’s a bit shy on leash at first but warms up quickly, sniffing and exploring her surroundings. The play group team recommends she find placement with children middle school-aged children and older, and calm, large dogs. Renee has a prey drive, so her new home cannot have birds/poultry. Chico has been waiting for his adoption day from the Lancaster Animal Care Center since April, with nobody once requesting a meet and greet. The chunky boy clocks in at 72 pounds, is neutered and is about three years old. He is strong and prefers to be the star of the show. It is required that children in his next family be high school-aged, with no other dogs. Ghost is one of many German shepherds under the care of the Lancaster Animal Care Center. Ghost is believed to be about two years old. He is a social guy that was eager to greet the new dogs entering the play group. The behavior team recommends placement with middle school-aged children and calm, large dogs.
