Deacon is an approximately three-year-old neutered brown German shepherd that has been at the Palmdale Animal Care Center since Sept. 19, coming in as a stray. Deacon is an energetic boy that could use some continued socialization with other people. He loves treats, pets, and would make a great companion on walks. Sassy is a two-year-old, black and white spayed female pit bull. Her energetic behavior contributes to the requirement that she go to a home with high school-aged children or older and a home with no other dogs. She loves running around the play yard and getting love and attention. She would flourish with an active family that can help her find positive outlets for her high energy. Odin is a four-year-old neutered male Siberian husky. Odin is a big teddy bear, weighing in at 73 pounds. He may have a slight vision impairment but that does not stop him from soliciting attention from passers by of his kennel. He is always eagerly awaiting at the kennel door with a wagging tail (and body), ready to lick hands placed at the kennel door. Ollie is a one-year-old male orange and white domestic short hair. He is a friendly young boy who walks around his kennel with a loose relaxed body. He solicits for attention when he gets a visitor and is perfectly comfortable getting picked up and held. He is still young and playful but old enough to be past his crazy kitten stage.
