Animal name: Yogi

Yogi is a five-year-old neutered male pug/Labrador retriever mix. He is 40 pounds of friendly boy packed into a small package. He is always at the front of the kennel door “smiling” at passers-by. Out of kennel he prances about and loves to be pet and given attention from handlers. He tolerates other dogs but much prefers the company of people, so the Lancaster Animal Care Center is recommending he goes to a home with no other dogs. Ash is a two-year-old spayed female black and brindle pit bull. Upon coming to the Lancaster Animal Care Center, she was fearful and timid. Now she is gaining more confidence and will regularly greet handlers at the kennel door with a wagging tail and soft body. She licks hands through the kennel door. Due to her need for continued confidence building, she is required to go to a home with no children and no other dogs. Visit Ash by calling the center at 661-940-4191 and making an appointment.
