Mila is a domestic short hair, approximately four years old. She came in to the Palmdale Animal Care Center on Jan. 15 as a stray. Perry is a one-year-old male rabbit. His coat is so soft, you will love petting him almost as much as he will love getting pet. Shelldona is a red-eared slider, about two pounds and about six inches long and four inches wide. She loves to dunk in the water and “sun” bathe under her heat lamp. She has been at the Lancaster Animal Care Center for a couple of months. Cosmo is a two-year-old, neutered male Siberian husky. He’s very goofy and outgoing with handlers’ loving affection. In the play yard he tolerated other dogs but preferred to do his own thing, so the Lancaster Animal Care Center is recommending he go to a home without any other dogs. It is also recommended he go to a home with high school-aged children or older. Moby is a one-year-old male, gray/brown pit bull. He loves interacting with handlers wagging his tail (as well and his whole body) while he licks, nuzzles and rolls over into their laps. His obnoxiousness carries over into his interactions with other dogs as he does not respect their space when they warn for it. In the play yard he was continuously wanting to interact with the other dogs, even though they tried to avoid him. Due to this, its recommended he go to a home with adults only and with no other dogs.
