LANCASTER — The Lancaster Chamber of commerce will conduct its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the J.P. Eliopulos Hellenic Center, 43404 30th St West.
Patrick Nelson, chief of the detective division for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, will be speaking on the structure and mission of the Division and how they support stations. Fraud and Cyber Crimes Bureau Sergeant Hish will be speaking on how businesses can better protect themselves from emerging cybercrime trends.
Also present will be city Public Safety Director and newly appointed interim Chief of Police Lee D’Errico, who will discuss the city’s newly established hybrid law enforcement program that will begin to work in partnership with the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
Cost is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members.
