America’s Alejandro Zendejas celebrates scoring against Tigres during a Mexican soccer league match, Sept. 3, at Azteca stadium in Mexico City. Zendejas, a 24-year-old forward who played twice for Mexico, could make his USMNT debut tonight.

CARSON — Alejandro Zendejas insists he isn’t thinking about his future beyond his first training camp with the senior U.S. national team this week.

Zendejas won’t stop anyone from speculating about the talented forward’s long-term international home.
