The Fourth of July Fireworks show at Irwindale Speedway has become one of the best in Los Angeles County since 1999.
The Irwindale Event Center’s not going to let the COVID-19 pandemic change that.
Tim Huddleston, the Speedway president, announced this week that the show will go on on July 4, even if the racing does not.
The Irwindale Speedway Fourth of July Drive-In will be held on the nation’s 244th birthday.
Gates open at 6 p.m., with cars parked in a semi-circular way to effect a drive-in theater.
Strict surgical mask and social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
The fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.
