LAS VEGAS — Zach Norvell Jr. scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures, and No. 1 Gonzaga beat Pepperdine in the semifinals of the West Coast Conference Tournament.

Rui Hachimura scored 16 points, Brandon Clarke added 15 and Josh Perkins and Corey Kispert each scored 11 for Gonzaga.

No. 20 Wofford 70, UNC Greensboro 58

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Fletcher Magee and Nathan Hoover each scored 20 points and No. 20 Wofford battled back to defeat UNC Greensboro 70-58 Monday night to win the Southern Conference Tournament for the fifth time in 10 seasons and earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.


No. 1 Baylor 67, No. 13 Iowa St. 49

OKLAHOMA CITY — Kalani Brown had 17 points and seven rebounds to help No. 1 Baylor defeat No. 13 Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament championship game.

Brown, a 6-foot-7 senior center, was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

No. 2 UConn 66, UCF 45

UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Napheesa Collier scored 25 points and pulled down 14 rebounds, and UConn beat UCF to win its sixth straight American Athletic Conference Tournament championship.

No. 12 Gonzaga 78, Saint Mary’s 77, OT

LAS VEGAS — Zykera Rice’s last-second layup in overtime lifted Gonzaga past Saint Mary’s in the West Coast Conference Tournament semifinals.

No. 13 Marquette 75, Georgetown 62

CHICAGO — Natisha Hiedeman and Allazia Blockton each scored 23 points to help Marquette beat Georgetown and advance to its third straight Big East Tournament title game.
