Still the worst

As I predicted, Trump’s cult members would defend him to the death.

Three of them wrote in to take me to task for denigrating his image.  One writer said Trump never advocated taking bleach internally to cure the COVID19 virus.  Yes, he did.  If you would watch anything else besides Fox TV you would see him saying just that.  I have seen it many times.

Another said Trump only advocated ultra violet light taken internally and that “they were working in it.”  Pray tell who are “they” and how did they manage to get ultra violet light into liquid form for injection?

The third said if Trump is so stupid how did he get so rich?  Easy, if my daddy had given me $400 million and I had gone bankrupt three times without having to pay my creditors, I would be rich too.  You have to be pretty stupid to go bankrupt while owning a casino, and doing it three times.

He promised to create 10 million new jobs “make America great again” (it was already great), and he has managed to destroy the economy, make America the laughing stock of the world, given us the largest unemployment in history, lied to the American people over 18,000 times and he still has five months to go to do even more damage.

We will survive his mishandling of the COVID19 epidemic and he won’t be held responsible event even though he should be charged with mass murder.

He will probably start his own TV station and all of his cult members can send in their subscription but he still be the worst president in our history.

Wake up, again

Again, people, wake up! You can now go to a casino, but you can’t go to church. Why aren’t you questioning this?

A ‘sandwich’

The May 19, 2020 Editorial Page is like a sandwich: two slices of well written and well reasoned perspectives with a scoop of bologna in the middle.

So long California

The AV Press contributing column by Thomas Elias of May 10, titled “Will COVID-19 up chances of Calexit?” provided some reasons why he thinks a resurgence of the effort for a secession from the union by California is taking place.

Elon Musk’s action in moving Tesla out of California is just one of them. I’m all for it, but for a slightly different reason.

I’m planning on leaving CA in the near future and without CA in the tally of Electoral College votes for national politics, the U.S.A. will no longer be saddled with the Democrat ideology, as in the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Diane Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Eric Swalwell.

Even Gavin Newsom would not be a potential president. The U.S.A. as a whole will be much better off and CA can go its own way in providing taxpayer funded freebies to its citizens and non-citizens alike, minus the government administration fees of course.

How do you spell 25% sales tax and $5 a gallon gasoline? But hey, that will be their problem. And the Feds won’t have to bail out CalPERS (make that $6 a gallon gas).
