He’s not interested
I read Mr. Warford’s good column about Thomas Jefferson’s writing of the Declaration of Independence, employing logos, pathos, and ethos.
Going back to just the presidents in my lifetime, from Eisenhower to Obama, I can find one or all of those a part of who they were during their presidencies and beyond.
I cannot find a connection to any of them by the current occupant of the White House. It’s no surprise a document structured to capture the imagination of future generations, is not particularly interesting to him.
Do you see the problem?
The housing crisis in California, especially in L.A. County, has to be caused in part by the influx of illegal aliens at our border, crossing freely for all the promised benefits and swelling our population because of us being a sanctuary state.
Surely I can’t be the only one to see the elephant in the room.

Someone needs a wake-up call
On July 4, one of your readers, his name I won’t mention, stated that “Indians thought the country are treated well. “Everything is given to them including food, clothing, and even free housing.”
What kind of dreamworld is he living in? Has he been to the Navajo Reservation lately. Maybe he should make that trip to Monument Valley in Arizona.
Yes the people are given a parcel of land, but that is it. And it is not exactly Central Park. There is no water, no electricity, no nothing. They are not given free food. Some are living in mud huts. And you think that is being treated well?
Well, sir, I invite you to go visit that reservation someday and get a wake- up call to reality.
