Liar, liar

Clyde Dotson, I see that you wonder how much of Elizabeth Warren’s and Bernie Sanders’ policy program is based on lies.

I would say all of their policy program is based on lies because they have to lie because that is the only way they can shove Socialism down our throat.

But the left wing media ignores their lies because they are too busy trying to convince us that President Trump is a liar.

Trump has moxie

Bill Deaver’s article dated June 23 on “How it’s possible to avoid paying taxes” was well written until he wandered off course and wrote that the “Native  Americans are getting screwed by the government.” This is further from the truth.

Indians throughout the country are treated well by the Dept. of Interior and Bureau of Indian Affairs. Everything is given to them including food, clothing and even a free housing. They can even generate extra income on their sovereign land with casinos. But go to a reservation and see what happens when everything is given to them.

Bill ends his article by ridiculing our president, writing that “We always have had grownups running the country,” insinuating that Trump isn’t fit for the job and that other presidents didn’t get a million dollars from daddy when they were in diapers.

So Trump grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. I wish I was this lucky but do we really care about Trump’s upbringing? Lots of us are happy with the job he’s doing right now.

Trump’s cut taxes and regulations to stimulate our lackluster economy. He added more than four million jobs, is building up our military and hes getting rid of undesirables like MS 13 gang bangers.

Other presidents didn’t have the guts or moxie to do what Trump’s done, like fire incompetent and selfish people entrenched in our capitol.  Let’s easy off the fake news okay Bill?

Waiting for 2020

The book of Luke states the following in Chapter 9:46-48: An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had him stand beside him. Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”

After reading a recent letter published in the Antelope Valley Press on July 1, 2019, where the writer believes President Trump was more of a Christian than any other candidate who ran against him 2016 must not realize what the President is doing to the Central American children is not a very Christian act. Separating mother’s and father’s from their child is completely wrong. Holding them in cages is not humane.

I know it was President Obama who started this intolerable act. However, do two wrongs make it right?

We are now just learning that our government is not providing sanitary items such as tooth brushes and tooth paste along with not providing drinking water and telling the inmates to drink out of the toilet.

My guess is most people do not know it was not until 1929 when the U.S. passed a bill to restrict a group of immigrants it hadn’t really focused on before: to make it illegal for Mexicans to crossed the U.S.-Mexican border.

I am surprised our President has not brought back the practice of bathing the immigrants in kerosene.

2020 cannot get here soon enough for me and millions of others who believe as I do that this is the most toxic president in our nation’s history.

That’s the problem

In the 30 Dec 2017 edition of the AV Press, John Manning wrote: “Our nation, consequently, is experiencing a disturbing decline of personal and national honor, virtue, common sense, and simply human decency with rampant childish name calling like so commonly seen in our local letters section…”

Additionally, Gerardo Hernandez wrote that Democrats were “…. a bunch of losers…” for not participating in the Republican tax plan.  In his Kern County Report written in the AV Press, Bill Deaver states that the problem with politics is a failure to cooperate and mentions “…situations like when the newly-elected chair of California’s dwindling Republican party referred to Democrats as ‘the enemy.’ How do you get anything done with that kind of attitude?” (June 30, 2019)

Like many letters written to this newspaper, Mr. Manning fails to address the fact that President Trump might be the cause of the division. President Trump disrespected the late Arizona Senator John McCain (who spent five years in a North Vietnamese prison camp) by saying: “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” www.cnn.com, (30 May 2019)

There have been many opinions believed as if they are factual. For example, in July 2018 edition, Skip Thacker mentioned that Hillary Clinton …killed four Americans in Benghazi and lie[d] and blame[d] it on a movie…” In 2016 a subcommittee spearheaded by a Republican spent $7 million and 800 pages to show Clinton was not involved. The committee blamed the Defense Dept, CIA, and State Department. (House Benghazi Report Finds No New Evidence…”, www.nytimes.com,  (June 2016)

Manning’s failure to acknowledge President Trump’s mistakes and Thacker’s blind faith in worshiping Trump shows where the problem lies. Sadly, they will never admit this failure.
