LOS ANGELES (CNS) — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 10th consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.636.

The average price has dropped 6.4 cents over the past 10 days, including 1.3 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.2 cents less than one week ago and 14.7 cents less than one month ago, but seven-tenths of a cent more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 11th time in 12 days, falling 1.3 cents to $3.604. It is 5.1 cents less than one week ago and 12.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 3.5 cents more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 7 cents over the past 12 days, including 1 cent Friday.

“Oil prices are down over the last month because of worries over the trade war with China and its economic effects,” said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s corporate communications manager.
