Five people were shot in two unrelated Halloween party incidents early Sunday morning.

In Lancaster, four people were shot just before 1 a.m. on the 44600 block of Ranchwood Avenue.

Deputies responded to a call of multiple gunshots. When they arrived they located two victims and the other two had already been transported to the hospital.

No suspects have been identified. A suspicious black vehicle was at the scene.

Roughly an hour later in Palmdale, a gunshot victim was found on the sidewalk outside a home where another Halloween party had been taking place on the 4800 block of E Avenue R-11.

The victim was an uninvited guest that showed up to the party, leading to an argument and eventual shooting. The victim was transported to the Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition, but is now stable. The suspect is in custody.
