PALMDALE — Los Angeles County Palmdale Sheriff’s Station detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating two grand theft suspects.
The theft occurred at approximately 8 p.m. Aug. 22 when the two suspects walked into the Walmart Superstore at 40130 10th St. West. Suspect No. 1 went to the cash register to pay for two items using a $100 bill.
After receiving his change Suspect No. 1 asked for his $100 bill back so he could pay with a $10 bill. Suspect No. 1 did this multiple times, confusing the cashier while Suspect No. 2 stood behind the cashier and acted as a lookout. Suspect No. 1 was able to get $1,101 from the cashier.
Suspect No. 1 is a male black, approximately 40 to 45 years old, five feet, six inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and crooked lower teeth.
Suspect No. 2 is a male black approximately 45 to 50 years old with a gray beard and heavy build.
