LANCASTER — Economic development projects across the Antelope Valley region will be the topic of discussion on Thursday when the Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance hosts its quarterly investor event.

The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John P. Eliopulos Hellenic Center, 43404 30th St. West.

The Economic Development Professionals Panel will feature Chenin Dow, assistant to the city manager for the city of Lancaster; Corey Costelloe, assistant to the city manager for the city of Tehachapi and Alexia Svejda, representing economic development in East Kern County.

The panelists will highlight new economic development projects in their respective cities and areas and discuss trends for the future, according to GAVEA.

“This event is an opportunity for our investors and allies to hear from our municipal representatives all in one place,” GAVEA President Kimberly Maevers said. “You’ll walk away from this meeting with a much better understanding of what is happening across the region, in regards to economic development.”

Admission is $30 for general admission and $20 for GAVEA investors with a promo code.
