LANCASTER — Mayor R. Rex Parris and The Lancaster City Council will hold a virtual town hall meeting at 9 a.m., today regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City Council will also hold a special meeting at 5 p.m., tonight, rescheduled from Monday night, for discussion and possible action regarding COVID-19.

The City Council will also discuss and take possible action to authorize City Manager Jason Caudle to make financial expenditures in support of COVID-19 response.

The council will meet at 5 p.m. in Council chambers at City Hall, 44933 Fern Ave.

Community members can watch the meeting via live-stream on the city’s website, www.cityoflancasterca.org/connect/public-meetings.

Members of the public can comment via email during the meeting by sending an email to  aalexander@cityoflancasterca.org. The email will be read into the record during public comment.
