Sheriff Stuff Humvee

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel stationed at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station are conducting their third annual Stuff a Humvee Toy Drive to help provide toys to Antelope Valley children. Deputies will be in front of the Lancaster Target store collecting toys on Dec. 6.

LANCASTER — The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station’s third annual Stuff-a-Humvee Toy Drive is underway.

Deputies will be in front of the Lancaster Target store at 43525 10th St. West, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 to collect new, unwrapped toys. The goal is to fill the Humvee rescue vehicle with as many toys as possible.

Antelope Valley residents who would like to participate but can’t stop by the Target store can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, 501 West Lancaster Blvd., through Dec. 18.

The station lobby is a donation site. All of the donated toys will be shared with numerous organizations to donate to local families. (Due to allergens, no stuffed animals/plush toys unless they are in individual packaging from the manufacturer.)

Deputies want to ensure every child has a gift to unwrap this holiday season.
