Missing person

LANCASTER (CNS) - A 79-year-old man who suffers from dementia was missing Tuesday in Lancaster.

Edward Albertus Kos was last seen at 10 a.m. Monday at his home in the 44500 block of 15th Street West, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Kos is white, five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 145 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, Koerner said. It is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Sgt. Sandra Nava or Detectives Tamar Abraham or Matthew Pereida of the sheriff’s Missing Persons Detail at (323) 890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
