LANCASTER — Thousands of people turned out Thursday for the ninth annual Job Services Network Job Fair at West Coast Baptist College.

Approximately 2,000 people registered in advance for the job fair but an estimated 2,500 to 3,000 attended.

People waited in long lines outside to get in.

Employers include CEMAK Trucking, Incotec, Virgin Orbit, Rio Tinto, Target, Walmart, Northrop Grumman, Student Transportation of America, Behavioral Learning Center, Lockheed Martin, Norton Manufacturing, General Atomics, BYD Motors and Weinerschnitzel.

People waited in line to turn in resumes to Northrop Grumman.

Sponsors included Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Assemblyman Tom Lackey, state Sen. Scott Wilk, the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale, America’s Job Center of California, Antelope Valley College, and West Coast Baptist College.
