AV Hospital Emergency Room

Antelope Valley Hospital will expand the capacity of its overcrowded emergency room with a temporary modular structure that will allow staff to treat an additional 44 patients at a time.

LANCASTER — Looking for a means to expand its extremely busy and chronically overcrowded emergency room while awaiting construction of a new hospital facility, Antelope Valley Hospital will add capacity using a temporary modular structure designed specifically for medical facilities.

“Right now our emergency room is a very sad area as far as the space and taking care of our patients,” CEO Ed Mirzabegian said.
