LANCASTER — Lancaster Sheriff’s Station detectives, working with the Lancaster Appreciation Program, arrested four people on Tuesday in connection with a series of armed robberies that began last month.
The four arrested were three juvenile boys and one adult man, all from Lancaster, Sheriff’s officials said.
They were arrested as part of an investigation into a string of crimes that stretched from Mojave in Kern County to Santa Clarita. The four are suspected of being responsible for at least six armed robberies, including two incidents in which a gun was discharged, officials said.
The investigation required several leads and detectives served three search warrants before locating the four suspects.
The adult was arrested on charges of robbery and booked at Lancaster Sheriff’s Station. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
The three juvenile suspects were detained and transported to Eastlake Juvenile Hall, officials said.
