Lancaster brush charred

LANCASTER (CNS) — A fire has charred about 50 acres of brush Tuesday in the Fairmont area west of Lancaster.

Firefighters first responded to the flames at 12:30 p.m. at 120th Street West and West Avenue K, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department

At least two helicopter crews were sent to the scene.

No structures were threatened.
