LOS ANGELES — Officials from building and safety were called out Saturday after a cement truck rolled down a hill, crossed a street and struck the garage of a single-story home in the Mount Washington area.

No injuries were reported.

Fuel from the truck leaked out onto the ground and firefighters created a dike to limit the spread of the fuel as well as the environmental impact, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters and paramedics were called out to the scene in the 3800 block of North Glenalbyn Drive at 10:13 a.m., Prange said.

“No one was occupying the garage at the time of the collision and the driver had previously evacuated vehicle himself from the truck, he said.“Firefighters have retrieved medications and personal belongings for three adults that could potentially be displaced.”
