LANCASTER — Flames charred about two acres of grass in the Lancaster area Saturday, authorities said.

The fire was reported about 3:30 p.m. at 130th Street West and West Avenue J, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Melanie Flores.

Firefighters reported at 3:51 p.m. they had a line of cleared vegetation around the blaze and that the flames were doused, Flores said.
