Animal ID No.: A5413107

Animal Name: Butters

Butters is a four-year-old tan male pit bull that was brought to the Palmdale Animal Care Center by a volunteer when she saw Butters being pushed out of a pick up truck and left out in a parking lot. Butters was very nervous and confused but very much welcomed the loving hands of volunteers pulling him from the busy parking lot. Butters is revealing he is more of a people person and loves getting their attention. He allowed being handled and knows how to walk on leash. He is tolerant but could be deemed selective when he around other dogs. In the play yard, he prefers to walk around by himself, not engaging in any play some of the dogs has offered him. With his experience in life, Butters seemed to be needing confidence building, and patience and understanding from his new potential family to allow him to thrive again in life. He is required to be in a home with middle school-aged children and would be required to be in an only dog home. He will be adopted under health waiver. Send email to the center, including Butters’ ID number, to Palmdale@animalcare.lacounty.gov to see Butters. Speak to the medical staff for information about his medical needs.
