OSHEL, Edna May Noles
OSHEL, Edna May Noles Edna May Heath was born in Lakeland, Florida on September 16, 1927 to Walter Bliss Heath and Ada Pauline Roberson. She had two brothers Gerald Walter Heath, who died in infancy; and Everett Eugene Heath who died as a young child. Edna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family. In 1947, she moved to Naval Ordinance Test Station (N.O.T.S.) China Lake, Calif. She spent 26 wonderful years there. Edna lived in Lancaster the last 37 years. She belonged to Lancaster United Methodist Church and retired from Palmdale City Library. Edna departed this life in Lancaster on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 90 years old. She left us with many fond memories of a life filled with love and laughter. Edna was predeceased by her parents, along with her first husband Ronald Clifford Noles of 27 years, and her second husband Warren Wesley Oshel of 15 years. Edna has a daughter Karen Lynne (Noles) Mahoney (husband Jimmy), and four step-sons: Thomas Warren Oshel (wife Donna), Jon Alan Oshel (wife Ginny), Paul Michael Oshel (deceased) (wife Katherine), and Brian Patrick Oshel. Edna has nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grand- children. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society Celebration of Life services with a reception following will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Lancaster United Methodist Church, 918 West Avenue J, Lancaster, CA 93534.
