BARRIAULT, Sharon (Eby)
BARRIAULT, Sharon (Eby) A longtime resident of Lancaster, Sharon passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was 79. The daughter of Sylvester and Carole Eby, Sharon was born February 14, 1939. After graduating from Antelope Valley High School, her first job was at Edwards Air Force Base in 1957, starting in instrumentation and advancing to supervisor of flight records. She was named the T-38 mascot in 1960. A gifted artist, professional designer, motivational speaker, and owner of Creative Mouse House, Sharon lovingly shared her talents in every aspect of her life and was passionate about serving her community. Among her many achievements, she was President for California/National Women in Chamber of Commerce and 14 Western States Craft & Hobby Association, Commissioner for the City of Lancaster Parks and Recreation Department and was awarded Zontas 'Woman of Achievement' award in 1989. She is survived by her brother Gary Eby (Diane),3 children: Misty Keel (Keith), Kenneth Barriault (Ingrid), and Bonnie Barriault,5 grandchildren: Kathleen, Kristy, Tyler, Jessica, and Emily, and 2 great grandchildren: Astrid and Dean. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice, in 1999. Sharon was a kind and generous person to all. Often referring to herself as 'Stupid Cupid', she now has the wings to prove it. A celebration of her beautiful life will be held for family and friends Saturday, April 7th from 1 - 4pm at Ginos Italian Restaurant, 44960 Valley Central Way, Lancaster.
