SMITH, Beulah Marie
SMITH, Beulah Marie Marie went to be with the Lord on Jan. 8, 2018, following a stroke. She was born in Tennessee, and met her loving husband, Curtis Smith, when he returned from WW II; and she was working in the local hosiery mill. They were devoted to each other for 69 years. They owned the Smith Family Farm until 1957, when they moved to Antelope Valley Calif, for her health reasons. They raised 4 daughters. Marie was a loving mother, and a good homemaker, as her family was everything to her. She worked briefly in the aerospace industry in the 70's to help support her family. After Curtis retired, they spent happy times fishing , campingin the Eastern Sierras, and gardening in their beautiful backyard. Marie is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Smith, daughters Evelyn Johnson, Linda Laverdiere, Sharon Rothberg, 4 grandchildren. Also her brother Wesley Conar and nieces and nephews; in Tenn. Daughter Katherine Carr preceded her in death. Her gentle wayswill be greatly missed by her Family and Friends. Services at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 2200 E. Ave S, Palmdale. Tues. Jan. 16 at 10:30 am. Friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, please send any donation to Palmdale Animal Care Center 661-940-4191
