MCSHERRY, Lynda Caroll (Mitchell) Born Dec. 19, 1959 in Munich, Germany to loving Father Byron George Mitchell and Mother Billie Jacqueline Mitchell. Lynda entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 26, 2017 in Lancaster, Calif., Rosamond is where she was a long time resident. Surviving is her Husband James Joseph McSherry and Daughter Teasha Lynn Borg and Brothers Richard, Randy, and Robert Mitchell many loved ones in Miss. and Tex. Lynda was a very compassionate and giving woman and a Pastors Wife. She was a Entrepreneur. Exciting World Of Embroidery and Gifts was her business she owned and operated for many years till her health started to decline. She was avid gardener (Green-thumb she had), her passion was jewelry making and crafting. Lynda was a lover of crossword puzzles, spending time with family, friends and witnessing. Wellsprings Post Acute Healthcare Center was her Home for the last 5 years due to needing around the clock care. Mary Dale was her loving caring roommate at the healthcare center. Viewing will be held from 9 am to 10 am., Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 , with Services at 10 am to 11 am, both at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, 808 E. Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535 at her request. Please send Flowers and Plants to Mortuary. Pastor Randy Gorski of AV King James Baptist Church, whom Lynda was a member of, will be performing services for both the Memorial & Burial. The Burial will be held at 1:15 pm Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin CA 93203. Lynda will be Dearly Missed by her Husband, Family and many Friends, but we are comforted to know she is 'with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she had Trusted In. See Romans 3:23, 6:23a, 5:8, 10:9-10, & Acts 16:31. Ecclesiastes 3: 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time. No More Suffering. May She Truly Rest in Peace. IJN
