She was preceded in death by her husband, George Turner, and just 3 months ago, her oldest son, Paul Turner. Ruth was a quiet person who pursued her duties and interests in a variety of ways. She always enjoyed working having worked mostly in a clerical capacity, including at Antelope Valley College and as a civilian employee at Edwards AFB. She loved to travel and do genealogical work. This was the perfect combination of interests as it took her all over the country and to Europe documenting her family lineage. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her brother, Ira Irwin of Clearlake, Calif, daughter, Carole Romig of Savannah, Ga. and son, Charles Turner of Admiral, SK, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
