McGUIRE, James Brad
McGUIRE, James 'Brad' Passed away peacefully on June 25. Born in New York in 1932, he lived in the AV since the 1980s. He was a proud US Navy veteran, serving on the USS Pittsburgh in the 1950s. He was a proud IBEW electrician for 55 years. His great loves were his family, NASCAR, and the breakfast crowd at the Easy Egg cafŽ in Quartz Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona in February, and parents James and Grace of New York. He is survived by sister Judee Dana of Simi Valley; daughter Bonnie Huelsman (Ray) of San Diego; sons Brad McGuire Jr. (Eldon) of Hawaii, and Scott McGuire (Melissa) of Kansas. Step-children Monie Garcia (Gerry) of Lancaster and William Barber (Theresa) of Florida. Grandchildren Ka'rin (Brian) and Nolan (Cynthia) Huelsman, Dane and Troy Barber, and Zack and Bailey Garcia. No services are planned. His ashes will be scattered at sea by a US Navy burial detail. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of America.
