HOLCOMB, Mark Steven
HOLCOMB, Mark Steven (1956-2017) Born in Los Angeles, Mark was a resident of Lancaster for the last 47 years and was an AVHS graduate. A 38 year member of Laborers Local 300, Mark worked for Asphalt Construction until his retirement. In his early years in Lancaster, Mark worked a variety of jobs from the beet dump, AVHS bus yard, and AV Fair mantientance. He was a hardworking, reliable, simple man who enjoyed life and wasnt afraid to live it. He believed in God, family and work. Mark left a wife, Kathleen, 4 children: Autumn, Austin, Megan and Mark W.; 4 brothers, 2 sisters and nieces, nephews, distant relatives and many friends. In retirement, Mark was dedicated to his wife and children, enjoyed his Tortoise sanctuary, Palm grove and home living, remembering the many miles he walked while paving. He loved riding his motorcycles, dirt and street. Most of all he enjoyed people and will be deeply missed.
