JOJOLA, Joey Dean On March 3, 2017, Joey Dean Jojola, age 51, was called home to be with the Lord. He was born October 15, 1965, to Saundra Jeaneil Giles and Robert (Bob) Jojola in Inglewood, Calif. During his early years he enjoyed the beach and was involved in numerous sports with football being his favorite. He also enjoyed the music of the 50s and 60s. His teenage and adult years were spent in the Antelope Valley, residing in Quartz Hill. Joey gained the friendship of many people he met through his growing up years. He was never one to shy away from helping those who needed help or guidance. With his cheery smiles, booming voice and open arms, you knew you made a friend. Besides his schooling in Quartz Hill, Joey was also involved in the construction business and later established 'JOJOLA TRUCKING COMPANY'. Joey is survived by his wife Roxanne 'Roxy' Jojola, mother Saundra Jeaneil Bass, father Robert (Bob) Jojola, son Christopher, daughter Saundra, granddaughter Freyja, sister Linda Reynell Very and brother Ransy Giles. He has many cousins, nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held at the Westside Christan Fellowship Church located at 9306 Leona Ave., Leona Valley, CA 93551 on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 11am. Reception will follow immediately after the Memorial Service. The Family request that in lieu of flowers, they would deeply appreciate donations to help with expenses.
