PARIS, Marie C. Dec. 19, 1933 Ð Jan.31,2017 Survived by husband Ernie Paris; Children: Donna Hamblin(Vince), Deborah Buxton(Ralph), Steve Buffalo(Susan), George McQuaid(Eddie); and 8 grand, 18 great and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Marie was born a strong and energetic woman in Bethpage, Tenn. and was filled with love for her husband, family and friends. She moved to Lancaster in 1964 where she was the co-owner /operator of Rose Marie- 2-Gals CafŽ for 3 years. In 1976 she opened the Hungry Bear CafŽ, home of the best biscuits and gravy, on Sierra Hwy. which later moved to Lancaster Blvd. and remained until she retired. After retirement, she and Ernie moved to Alabama, Grand Junction, and finally settled in Bullhead City. In 2015, living with their daughter Donna, Reno became the final destination in her journey of life. She will be greatly missed and our memories remain strong of a woman who enjoyed family gatherings, reading novels, playing Nintendo and computer games, and going to the casino. A celebration of life will be held Mar. 4, 2017 at Napa Sonama in Reno, Nev. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or a charitable organization of your choice.
