O'MALLEY, Rebecca Louise Danie
OMALLEY, Rebecca Louise Daniel Born in Inglewood, Calif., Feb. 19, 1956 to Richard Daniel and Barbara Diltz; passed away suddenly at home in Palmdale, Calif., Jan. 25, 2017. Rebecca was our beautiful "red haired" wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and precious friend to so many. She loved God and the Lord Jesus Christ; and the assurance that she has now joined with them together forever in Heaven is helping sustain us during our grieving and sadness. Rebecca is survived by her husband Gilbert O'Malley, Jr., and their family; Sons: Thomas O'Malley (Ofelia), Timothy Shane O'Malley (Virginia), Anthony Azcarraga(Anitra), Nathan O'Malley (Laura) ; Daughters: Karrie O'Malley (Nick) and Heavyn Knoll. She was blessed with fifteen grandchildren that she loved and adored (the youngest a month old baby boy). Survivors also include her mother Barbara Diltz, brother, Richard Daniel, sisters: Debbie Aceto (Rocco), Karen Taylor and other extended family. Rebecca loved her Victory Outreach friends; those at the church, at the different Bible study groups, especially all the ladies at the church "home" next door and Zina (Jeffery), so many more. Rebecca worked in aircraft for Lockheed as a mechanic (she met her husband there) and also for Northrop as a mechanic and then as a factory specialist/FOE monitor. She enjoyed her years in aircraft very much and was proud of her work accomplishments especially since she barely knew the names of tools before she started. She was loving, caring, compassionate. She had been raised by her Grandma Mattie Cullison when she was younger and into her early adult years, she demonstrated all of the same qualities that she learned from granny. Rebecca had a wonderful hospitality ministry with people always over visiting because she was awesome to be around. During many years she took into her home many people who were going through troubles in their lives, who stayed sometimes for months. Her heart's desire was to show the love of Jesus to everyone and help/change the people's lives for the better; her heart was in the "right" spot. She will forever be loved and missed by all she loved and touched. I know her last prayers were to tell everyone to be prepared, Jesus is returning soon. Viewing will be Tues., Feb. 7, 2017 at 3:00pm at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Wed., Feb. 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 East Ave R, Palmdale Calif. To sign the condolence book visit www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com
