YAROSLASKI, Jean Of Lancaster, Calif., retired from the Great Falls Montana Public School system, died of natural causes Jan. 23, 2017 in Lancaster, Calif. Cremation has taken place, and her memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors include sons: Paul (Marg) Yaroslaski of Dodge City, Kansas, Gary Yaroslaski, and Todd (Linda) Yaroslaski, all of Lancaster, Calif. and three grandchildren, Caitlin, Kyle and Austin. Her parents and her husband, Carl Yaroslaski, preceded her in death. Jean was born June 21, 1931, in Lewistown, Montana. She served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Alaska and Germany. She married Carl Yaroslaski in Helena, Montana, on Oct. 30, 1957. Jean and Carl owned the Tastee Freeze in Glasgow, Montana. They moved to Great Falls, Mont., and purchased the Missouri Meadows RV Park and Campground. While in Great Falls, Jean worked for the Great Falls public schools in various capacities. Jean was an active volunteer at the Great Falls Visitor Center, sold tickets at local high school sporting events and was a member of the Great Falls Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards, ceramics, gardening, cooking and baking, which won many awards at the Montana State Fair.
