NASTER, James Joseph
NASTER, James Joseph Born on May 9, 1936 in Syracuse, New York. He served in the US Navy from 1955-1959 as an Electronic Technician. Jim loved life and laughed often. After his naval service he returned to New York and worked as a manager for a grocery store. He met the love of his life, Marlene and got married. He then went to work for General Dynamics and they spent 3 years in Turkey, building radar sites along the Black Sea. Eventually Jim and Marlene moved to California, where Jim dabbled in a couple small businesses before returning to work in the Defense Industry, where he stayed until his retirement at 55. Jim loved fishing, hunting, and reading but his real passion was for golf which he played into his later years. Jim passed peacefully on November 28, 2016 surrounded by his wife and 4 children. May God bless him and look over him as he joins his family and friends in heaven. Survived by his wife, Marlene, children - Greg (Mary), Cheri. Stacy (Oscar) , Jeff (Lisa), sister Sandra, niece Amy (Shane) nephew Kyle, great nephews, Brandon and Gavin, grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher (Jackie), Katie, Taryn, Allyson, and Jake. Preceded by his father Joseph and mother Veronica. Services will be held on December 2, 2016 at 10am Conejo Mountain Cemetery, Camarillo, Calif. Arrangement made by Conejo Mountain Funeral Home.
