Nash Arthur Art
NASH, Arthur "Art" A leader and activist in the AV from 1971- 2005 passed in Scottsdale, Ariz., Oct.27. He was 79. Art enjoyed a distinguished 20-year career in the US Air Force. After retiring, he moved toLancaster with his family and worked for the NASA. During his 30+ years in Lancaster, he became a respected leader in the city and in the AV. He was a former Planning Commissioner for the City of Lancaster, and a member of the AV Home Owners Assoc. He was also a Deacon at Christ Missionary Bible Church. Mourning Art are his wife, Sylvia McDowell Nash, son Darrell U. Nash of Fort Worth, Texas; twin daughters Dionne Nash-Smith, and Shannon Nash; granddaughters, Meosha Nash, Jayshil Oatley, Savannah Smith and Tatum Smith, brother Dennis Lowe, sister Wanda Sue Black and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Services will be held Mon., Nov. 7, 2016 at Agape Community Church. Burial will be at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster.
