DIAZ, JESUSITA SUSIE C
DIAZ, Jesusita 'Susie' C. 90, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2016. Susie was born to Luis Z. Calderon and Beatriz Mosqueda Calderon on August 28, 1926 in Austin, Texas, where she lived until marrying Marcelo A. Diaz on December 27, 1953. She was a devoted Air Force wife, living in several states and countries until their retirement in 1976 in Lancaster, Calif., eventually moving to Henderson, Nev., where she lived for the past 13 years. Susie was preceded in death by her beloved husband; parents; brothers, Ralph Calderon, Cisco Calderon, Lupe Calderon, Henry Calderon; and sisters, Mrs. Nora Casarez, Mrs. Dolores Rodriguez, Mrs. Virgie Lopez, and Mrs. Anna Sustiata. Susie is survived by her daughters, Margo (Terry) Wiblitzhouser of Mercer Island, Wash., Brenda (Richard) May of Palmdale, Calif., Marcella (Robert) Le Van of Henderson, Nev., Teresa (Stan) Masters of Henderson, Nev.; grandchildren, Nicholas May, Victoria May, Cole Masters, Alyssa Wiblitzhouser, Tye Masters, Deanna Wiblitzhouser, Drew Masters, Mara Le Van, Audra Le Van, Chantz Masters; great- granddaughter, Adaline May; brothers, Luis Calderon Jr., Mike Calderon; and sisters, Mrs. Mary Huerta, Mrs. Hattie Saldana, and Mrs. Beatriz C. Garcia. Susie will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, 7-9 pm, with Rosary to follow at 9 pm, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nev. 89123. Funeral Mass Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 12:30 pm, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052. Burial to be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, alongside her beloved husband, Marcelo. Lasting sentiments can be left at palmeastern.com.
