MARSHALL, James B. Mar. 12, 1943 - Aug. 21, 2016 James was born in Glendale, Calif. and grew up in El Monte attending Rio Hondo High School and was a resident of the AV for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army as a Radar Mechanic from 1964-1967. James went on to work as an aerospace technician at Rockwell International (Canogoa Park Facility) and The Boeing Company (Huntington Beach Facility). He enjoyed cross country running, A Capella choir, model railroads, model aeronautics and Amateur Radio (his call sign was WA6DSK). James will always be remembered for his warm smile, mechanical and electronic prowess, and honesty. He is survived by his brother Patrick, sister Sue and children Lisa and Michael. James ashes will be scattered at sea by an airplane.
