SULLIVAN, Margarita
SULLIVAN, Margarita 'Maggie' 83, of Lancaster, Calif., passed away on April 13, 2016. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home. Maggie was born in New York City on Sept. 10, 1932. In 1955 she graduated nursing school and married Eugene Sullivan. Shortly after they married they moved to Lancaster, Calif. After moving to Lancaster, Maggie started her life long passion of helping people and continued to care for the community as a nurse for 50years. After retirement, Maggie and Gene enjoyed traveling across the country in their motorhome. Each trip spanned from a weekend to 6 months. They loved being with each other an having the open road in front of them. In between trips she graciously served her community and volunteered her time at Antelope Valley Hospital and ProCare Hospice. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Sullivan. She is survived by her sons, Dave and Steve; Daughters in-law, Cathy and Cheryl; and her 3 grandchildren; Brooke, Kayla and Mallory. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on April 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at Grace Chapel, located at 44648 15th St. W., Lancaster, Calif. 93534.
