BRINK, Robert James
BRINK, Robert James Nov. 14, 1930 - Feb. 24, 2016 Robert (Bobby) James Brink was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn. as a middle son of 5 siblings. Bobby served in the U.S. Navy and Army Reserves during the Korean War. He married and settled in California in the 1950's, and became well known as the 'Singing Bartender' throughout his working life in Southern California. Bobby loved to entertain, play golf , travel to Hawaii, and was an Honorary Life Member of the Elks Lodge in Lancaster, Calif. where he served as Exalted Ruler in 2000. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Doris; six children Christine Hanson, James Brink, Eugene Williams, David Brink, Paul Brink and Robin Williams; 11 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-great Grandchildren. Bobby joins his two pre-deceased children, Carol Slade and Richard Williams. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service for Bobby on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Lancaster Elks Lodge #1625, located at 240 E. Ave. K in Lancaster, Calif. In lieu of sending flowers, the family wishes you make a donation to the Elks Lodge Piggy Bank Fund: a fund to raise money to help needy children in the community. Donations should be made payable to B.P.O.E #1625 and mailed to the Lancaster Elks Lodge address above.
