HUTTON, Leon N.
HUTTON, Leon N. Born April 5, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Okla., went to be with Jesus, November 18, 2015. He is survived by his wife: Judy Hutton, Son: Michael/Karen Hutton Tehachapi, Daughter Marion House/Tommy Wickerd Palmdale, Grandchildren: Shelby John House, Rachelle Caffey, Dawn Billings, and Tommy Wickerd II. Great Grandchildren: Jordan, Blake, Annie, Mikey, and Angela, Great - Great Granddaughter: Kayden. Leon was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy/Adeline, Sister; Barbara Hutton, Son-in-law: Shelby W. House, Sister-in-law: Betty and Brother-in law Bill. Leon moved to California where he attended Inglewood High. He was the first in Inglewood to enlist in the U.S. Navy, the day the Korean War broke out, serving our country as a Fire control tech. He graduated El Camino College with an RN degree continuing his education receiving his Bachelors. He moved his family to the AV in 1968 to work for the Los Angeles County Sheriff department as a Supervisor Nurse II (Mira Loma, NCCF and Wayside Honor Rancho) where he retired after 26 years. He is a member of Grace Chapel, a Master Mason, Scottish Rite 32nd degree. His favorite saying 'Don't tell me what to do'. He Loved the Boston Bruins Ice Hockey team (trying never to miss a game, if only on t.v.), coached the YMCA Ice Hockey Northstars, Melody Ice Rink, enjoyed his 80' Harley, liked the LA Rams, was very intelligent, loved a good story, always told jokes, loved to dance, was very generous, and loved God. Special friends: Norm Turner, Raleigh Weaver, Shirley Gentry, Richard Kelly,Cliff Huffmeyer, and Faith Builders. Officiate: Pastor Chris Johnson. Services will be held: December 1, 2015; 10am Family Graveside Service at Joshua Memorial, 11am Open Memorial Service at Grace Chapel 15th St. West Lancaster, Centennial Hall, a luncheon to follow. www.halleyolsenmurphy.com
