RUDOLPH Willy Henriette
RUDOLPH, Willy Henriette Pauline Fransje Meyer Mar. 23, 1922 - Oct. 21, 2015. In early hours of Oct. 21, heaven gained an angel. Willy dedicated her life to helping others in need. Though her life was anything but easy - a POW for 30 months in Japanese prison camps during World War II - she touched many with her kindness and love. Willy is survived by her sister, Sjoete (Vic Mager); children Louie (Evelyn VanderHyde), Joan (Rudy Struyck) and Ringo (Nancy Rudolph); 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. Willy was born in 1922 to Dutch colonists in Krikilan, Indonesia. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband and two sons. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28th at Noon, at The Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale.
