Obituary Notices and Memorials

WILLIAMS, Glen A great man left this earth on October 1, 2015. Glen was born in March 1932 to Wiley Dressler and Callie Mabel Williams. He grew up in the small town of Cowden, Ill., and left to join the USAF in 1950. In 1951, he married his high school sweetheart Jane May Hudson. They moved to Calif., in 1952 when he was stationed at Edwards AFB. After the Air Force, he spent 26 years as a surveyor and 10 years in aerospace. He enjoyed them both. Glen lived life to the fullest. He raced motorcycles, flew airplanes, hunted for grouse in the north woods of Wisconsin and took 2 long distance bicycling trips with his friends. He also loved to the fullest. He lost the love of his life in 1994. He wanted to go with her, but stayed behind to care for and guide his family to become the people we are today. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Pamela (John) and Jacki (Ed); four grandchildren, Miranda (TJ), Jessica (Cole), Caleb and Claire (Todd); five great- grandchildren, McKenzie, Madyson, Kylie, Dylan and Ryan and many other treasured friends and family members. Services will be private. He will be in our hearts forever.
