PENNY, Sr., Earl James
PENNY, Sr., Earl James Born on Oct. 29, 1939 in Little Rock, Ark. Earl resided in the AV 66 years. He spent his younger years in Topanga Canyon, Calif., and moved to Antelope Valley at age 9. He attended Del Sur then Antelope Valley High School. Earl passed away on Aug. 20, 2015 in Palmdale, Calif. He was an Electrician, Electrical Contractor since 1972. He retired and did electrical design drawings up till 2 years ago. He was an accomplished motorcycle desert racer, restored cars especially the 1968 cougars and an avid fisherman. He was the best Husband, Father, Uncle, Friend and was loved by all who he met. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Browne, her husband Charles; sons, Earl Jr., (Jim) and wife Beatriz and John and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Angela, Brett, Alexandria, Keela, Bryce, Brianna, Veronica, Sophia, Cate and Annie; niece Ann and nephew Chuck. His wife of 51 years, Carol preceded him in death 6 years ago. Services will be held at 11am, September 12, 2015 at Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals and Cremations, Lancaster, followed by a Celebration of Earl's life at his home.
