KLEINSCHMIDT, William Howard B
KLEINSCHMIDT, William 'Bill' Howard Bill passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Bill was born into the loving arms of Harry and Doris Kleinschmidt in Glendale California on April 17, 1959. His childhood was surrounded by the fun and laughter of his five siblings who will deeply miss their brother's kind and adventurous spirit. Bill lived most of his adult life in the Antelope Valley where he loved and raised five sons, took in countless abandoned animals and gave refuge to many neighborhood kids who all grew to call him Dad. Bill was a self-taught mechanical genius who, starting at a young age, could break down, fix and reassemble anything with a motor. He passed these skills on to all of his sons and took pride in working alongside them on numerous projects. Bill is survived by his wife, Megan; children, Brandon, Eric, Matt (Becca), Nick (Linnie) and Coleman; parents, Harry and Doris; siblings Paul, Deva (Steve), Johnny, Karen (Philip); countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pets. The passing of our cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend will leave an immeasurable hole in our hearts. Bill will be escorted by his sons to Indiana where he will be laid to rest by his sister Elizabeth 'Annie' Summerlin. Bill's memorial service will be announced at a later date. In honor of Bill's compassion for stray and mistreated animals the family is asking that donations be made to Lancaster SPCA in lieu of flowers.
