REDDICK, Eldred C. Red
REDDICK, Eldred C. 'Red' Born October 13, 1922, passed on peacefully in his home on April 30, 2015 at the age of 92. Red was born in Pennsylvania and moved to California as a young boy. He served in the Navy as a fighter pilot in Korea. As an air traffic controller, the family moved to Palmdale, Calif., in 1961. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge, serving as Exalted Ruler, State Vice President and District Deputy. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marilyn; son Michael Reddick; daughter Colleen (Larry) Johnson; son-in-law Ken Terry; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and sister, Zena McKenney. He is preceded in death by daughter Sue Stockton Terry. A celebration of life will be held on May 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the BPOE lodge in Palmdale. An interment will be held June 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the California Hawaii Elks Major Project, 5450 East Lamona Av, Fresno, CA 93727-2224 or Christ's Church of the Valley, Palmdale.
