TRUDGEON, Jack Howard
TRUDGEON, Jack Howard Beloved husband and father, Jack Howard Trudgeon, passed into the arms of his heavenly father on April 21, 2015. Born in Calumet, Michigan on July 26, 1920, Jack was married to his dear wife Helen for 63 years. Together they shared a joyous life filled with love of music, family, church, summers at their cabin in the U.P. of Michigan, retirement in Arizona, and final years in Lancaster, California. After military duty in World War II he served as both church and high school choir director for nearly 40 years. He was most happy sitting on the dock of his cabin in the woods, puttering in the back chopping wood, or working in his garden. Jack was beloved by his large extended family and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his 5 children and their families, Jill and Kurt Sprenger of Texas, Jane and Robert Neal of California, Susan and Brad Marten of Colorado, Sandra and Douglas McLaren of England, and Garry Perryman of Wales. Cheers, Dad! Memorial service to be held in Winona, Michigan this summer. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lancaster United Methodist Pipe Organ Renewal Fund. Arrangements handled by Halley Olson Murphy Funerals & Cremations , Lancaster.
